About Dr. Ricardo Rossello
Dr. Ricardo Rossello was elected Governor of Puerto in 2017 at the age of 37, making him the youngest Governor in the U.S. at the time. He was elected on a platform of pursuing statehood for the Commonwealth as well as widespread internal reforms aimed at eliminating graft and corruption in government contracts. He was largely successful in implementing his “Plan for Puerto Rico”, built around a scientific approach to the problems facing the government.
Today, Dr. Rosselló continues his service as a Congressional Delegate for Puerto Rico. His goal is straightforward: to secure full representation and ensure that Puerto Ricans have the same opportunities as every other American. Whether he’s on Capitol Hill making the case for statehood or meeting with constituents back home, he never wavers in his belief that Puerto Rico deserves its rightful place in the nation. Dr. Rossello also serves as the Chief Visionary Officer of the Regenerative Medicine Institute, or RMI Health, a leading longevity research institute headquartered in Costa Rica and the co-founder of Beijing Prosperous Biopharm.
Rossello was awarded a JCI Top Young Persons Award for Scientific and Medical Innovation (2012) (Reference: https://www.aspenideas.org/speakers/ricardo-rossello)
He released The Reformer’s Dilemma and the Need for a Radical Middle in the summer of 2024.
